Welcome to the EWT Water Softener Blog – How to remove limescale from your home?

Welcome to EWT Water Softener Blog!

Good afternoon all, over the course of the next few, weeks, months and years I aim to enlighten you all on the pro’s and pro’s of having an EWT Water softener in your home.  There are many questions to be asked and explained on Water softening so if I forget to address any of your queries please contact me via the boxes below and I will answer your questions!

Firstly I’d like to welcome a couple of the new people to the EWT family,Mr Judge,Twickenham, Mr Nemcic, Essex and Mrs El-Kaddagh, London, all of which have had water softeners installed in their homes in the last few days and we encourage them to update us with how soon they are experiencing the benefits!

So…every day at EWT we receive numerous calls all because of one problem: HARD WATER! If you live in a soft water area, it is highly unlikely that you have ever heard of a water softener, where if you live in a Hard water area you will always remember how much better that shower, bath or Cup of Tea was whilst on holiday in a naturally soft water area.

Using the map above as a brief guide, you can see whether your location is a hard water area.

This may then answer the question as to why your taps look like this: Your kettle looks like this: And Boiler looks like this:

With a simple installation of a EWT water softener, this would get rid of these problems for life, reducing;

  • Cleaning time
  • Soap and Detergent usage
  • Money spent on cleaning products
  • Money spent on appliances damaged by limescale
  • And most of all it can reduce your heating bills by up to 30%!

Have a good day
